Comments and Suggestions About X-Day that were submitted by the voters

  • Was Peter a serious candidate? On his website (www.newreris.com) he actually said "I have far too many things going on in life, and have a website to worry about now. Web design is relatively unimportant to me, when I compare it to friends, maintaining my 3.8+ grade point average, doing sports, and other sources of entertainment. Compared to these four things, web design doesn't really hold a place in my life right now. Perhaps later, I will put up the website, when I have the time and the interest. But right now, I have much better things to do than to sit on a computer and type these web design codes, which I find BORING. If you have a reason to, you can still contact Tom at webmaster@newreris.com and he'll be happy to talk to you about whatever you want. Cya"
  • I sense a new bias towards the comixtreme websites for future competitions.
  • Although Adam seems better qualified to run the competition, I am worried that the competition will be biased towards the comixtreme affiliates. What can be done to prevent this?
  • A few comments about my choices above: While I thank Peter Carter for agreeing to run, I don't think he would be ready to take over X-Day next year; you can probably see why when you look at his bio answers or websites, particularly "http://www.newreris.com" (he says he has no interest in making websites). From what I have seen, Adam Johnsey seems to be an order of magnitude or two more ready, and I think X-Day will succeed well under Adam.
  • This election is a sham - my only choice was to vote for Peter (who has no interest in comics or in web coding) or Adam (who is so closely tied to the comixtreme sites that he seems biased). I want to vote for Darren Duncan as X-Day Manager.
