When Warlock arrived (iss. 21), he turned Illyana's hand techno-organic, so
she ported away to Limbo. She was attacked by a rebellious demon named Skunge,
who touched her and was transformed into circuitry. Illyana, afraid of being
likewise transformed, used her Soulsword on her own arm and passed out.
She awoke in the mansion, but in an alternate universe where no one knew her,
even Colossus. She is unable to use her magic or port, and the X-Men attack her
as a villain. She escapes them.
Lockheed leads her to a huge, hidden spaceship, where she is attacked by the
Brood. She is able to port to Limbo, then ports back to save Lockheed, picking up
a gun and armor on the way. The Brood explains that it escaped the destruction of
its world with eggs and cloned the X-Men to serve as hosts. The ersatz X-Men
overhear, and together they attack and kill it..

The New Mutants attend his viewing, and Rahne runs out, crying, and Warlock is
upset over the idea of burial, but Roberto and Sam calm them down, reminding them
of heaven and of the resurrection.
Warlock returns to the funeral parlor that night and reanimates Doug's body.
He takes the body to see Mrs. Ramsey and then Rahne, scaring them both, and the

fails to impress Sam, however, and we learn that Gosamyr has the power to
intensify emotions. She uses this to make Roberto and Sam fall for her, and she
