Synopsis:	Note: this is part of the Operation: Zero Tolerance (OZT) crossover.
	The kids fight Sentinels, and Tores has a mutant blast power up her sleeve.
Jono accidentally blasts Paige and then gets knocked down. M has Ev synch with
her to keep him safe, and he learns her secret. Gil unhappily spreads gas around
the garage and blows up the cars.
	Sean wakes and punches out Emma. Penance attacks Emplate, who is having
technical difficulties escaping, and Sean blasts him through the wall. He takes
Penance away, no longer trusting Emma.
	Daria flies Jubes to a nearby canyon, then gets the Sentinels to chase her.
Jubes starts walking (note: story continues in Wolverine 117).
	Gil and firemen search the wreckage. They find Ev, who uses his synch power
to locate M, who has been split into two little girls.

Synopsis:	Sean consults with Moira about the twins. He asks her about the
Legacy Virus sheıs battling; sheıs working on the similarities between Nate Grey
and Cable.
	Back at the school, Emma is keeping the twins sedated. Paige forces the kids
to attend a local fair, run by the Circus of Crime, who are barely surviving by
hypnotizing and robbing small town audiences. Ringmaster starts to entrancing,
and Paige reflexively pulls down Jonoıs scarf. The circus attacks.
	Jubes talks to Ev, who feels weird about kissing M, and then maybe causing
her split. Jubes feels guilty about giving information to OZT.
	The kids easily defeat the circus, and then take pity on the pathetic losers.
Jubes gets Ringmaster to donate their profits to charity, thus giving them a
second chance at legitimacy.
	Sean gets Emma to take a break, eat a picnic, and kiss him. ³Gather ye
rosebuds.²

Synopsis:	Emma burned the casserole, so she drives the kids out to dinner,
while thieves break into the school. They donıt know Penance is guarding the
twins.
	They all vote for the diner, where local punks harass them. Police Chief
Authier tosses them out and apologizes. He asks Jono to show his face, and Emma
telepathically covers for him.
	Moira thinks the Legacy Virus is attacking cell proteins. Sean tells her to
take a break.
	Emma and the kids return and are furious about the break-in. They find
evidence of a fight, but Penance is hiding with the twins, keeping them safe.
Jubes asks her who did this, and she points to Bill and Hillary Clinton in a
magazine. Paige, Angelo, and Jubes go to retrieve their highly personal stuff,
and when they pass a costume store, they realize masks were used. They catch
Aemon in the act at another house and see that the punks from the diner are
making minors steal for them.
	D.O.A. has found a new lavatory door, and Emplate makes him open it. Chimera
pops through and offers an alliance.
	Paige attacks the punks but doesnıt use her power and gets knocked down. As
they speed away in a car, Angelo snags the loot out of their trunk, and Jubes
puts a firework up their tailpipe. Authier arrests the punks for reckless
endangerment.
	Tracy is Authierıs daughter, and she has Paigeıs journal, Jubesıs cowboy hat
from Wolverine, and Angeloıs cigar box with a pistol in it.

Synopsis:	Sean is back from Scotland, and Emma punches him in the face
(payback for iss. 31). While he picks himself off the floor, Paige, Angelo, and
Jubes return with all the stolen stuff except their own personal items. Tracy
calls them, threatening to tell all, so they meet her behind the diner. Jubes
explains her relationship to Logan, so Tracy gives back the hat. Angelo explains
how he was caught up in a gang turf war and had to fake his death. He jammed the
gun but keeps it as a reminder, so Tracy returns it. Then she starts reading from
Paigeıs diary; thinking the mutant adventures are fiction, she reads about Jono,
and Paige snatches it away. But Tracy has made copies and wants their help.
	Chimera detonates a lepton imploder to make a gateway through realities to
the med-lab, trying to get the twins for Emplate. Penance and Jono destroy two
Plasma Wraiths, and when the twins hear their brotherıs voice, they wake, join
hands, and become M again. She jumps on Emplate, and they all merge.

Synopsis:	Paige, Angelo, and Jubes bring Tracy to the school, not realizing
theyıre currently under attack. Nobody knows what to expect from M-Plate, and
they fight each other meanwhile. M-Plate tries to take Ev, and none of the team
can stop it; Jubes gets blasted into an Alice-in-Wonderland-like reality, where
nobody can explain the twins. She wakes on the grounds; the biosphere is empty,
and the Pooka is back.

Synopsis:	Jubes, an orphan, hates Christmas.
	Stephen, a bully, takes money from Matthew, whose mutant power manifests. Now
everyone is afraid of him, and even the mailman who looks like Bing Crosby canıt
cheer him up.
	Paige misses home and ignores Jono, who was trying to give her a gift.
	Matthew puts out cookies and waits. When Santa shows, he keeps him stuck in a
chair.
	Nanny prepares Orphan Maker to ³rescue² a mutant for the holidays. En route,
his mutant detector goes off, and he tries to capture Ev and Angelo, but M
smashes him. Then he uses Pixie Dust and brings the kids to Nanny. She sends him
out to make an orphan. Jubes, trudging home with gifts, sees and chases him on
foot and stops him from killing Stephenıs parents. He blasts away with Stephen,
however, and Jubes canıt hang onto him and drops onto Matthewıs roof. Scared of
reindeer, she falls down the chimney, and Santa explains that Matthew doesnıt
want to be a mutant.
	Orphan Maker realizes his mistake and busts into Matthewıs house. He jumps
onto Santaıs lap, but Santa says heıs been naughty. Nanny recalls him just then,
and Santa is able to leave, too, since Matthew has fallen asleep. The kids have
escaped; Ev uses his power to search for Matthew and scares Stephen into thinking
heıs a mutant, too.
	Jubes quizzes Santa about a letter she wrote him as a child; he apologizes
for not being able to return her parents.
	On Christmas Day at the school, everyone decorates the tree and opens gifts.

Synopsis:	Wolverine chased the Token out of the biosphere (Wolverine 94), but
it is back and may have taken Tracy. The headmasters arenıt pleased that an
outsider was left there in the first place, and they split up and search.
	Jubes and Jono find the Pooka, who warps away with them to New York, where
locals direct them to Landau, Luckman and Lake (just after the Venom vs.
Wolverine LS).
	Dorian and Weasel force Aemon to steal for them again, but Chief Authier, who
has become very Caucasian, stops them. Timmons covers for Aemon, who tells
Authier that his missing daughter went to Xavierıs. He goes there, shoots a rat
holding a lepton imploder, and quizzes Emma. He sees the Tokenıs huge footprints
and senses something in the tree house.
	The rat is Dirtnap, who opens the dimensional gateway so they can find Ev.
M-Plate and Chimera have him, en route to the Universal Amalgamator, at the edge
of reality, which can merge all sentient minds together.

Synopsis:	Jubes and Jono run from a Boojum Snark in the shape of a T-Rex. The
Pooka mixes a martini and gets squashed; Jono blasts the Snarkıs head off, but
that doesnıt stop it. They ride it to the door to Moria, which opens at Jubesıs
touch.
	M-Plate gets Ev to the Amalgamator, where the girl who powers it is captive.
	Dirtnap takes Sean, Paige, and Penance to a frigid environment, where the
find a train on its way to the Amalgamator.
	Chief Authier tells Angelo and Emma that thereıs a Token in the tree house
and then nabs Dorian and Weasel again. They put out porridge and silver as an
offering to the Token, and it reappears with Tracy, Artie, and Leech.
	The Pooka et al. fall and land on railroad tracks, and the train is a-cominı.

Synopsis:	The train smushes the snark, and Jono, Jubes, and the Pooka climb
into the locomotive, while a giant spider chases them. Dirtnap falls off, but the
kids rescue him, and he is impressed with their generosity.
	M-Plate wants Ev to synch with Gaia and start the Amalgamator. Chimera
doesnıt support this plan and gets blasted.
	Tracy explains to Emma that the biosphere actually belongs to the Tokens, but
theyıre all friends now. The Token offers to help them find their friends.
	The train goes through another dimensional vortex and lands near the
Amalgamator. M-Plate puts everyone in a force bubble, till Dirtnap swallows it.
He has trouble digesting and warns heıs going to explode.
	The token shows Emma a door; Dorian and Weasel open Timmonsıs secret door,
yet another dimensional gateway.

Synopsis:	M interrupts Angelo playing Space Invaders on an Atari. He praises
the virtues of out-dated technology and dares her to play him. The competition
continues for a night and a day, and Angelo finally, frantically wins. M then
suggests she let him win because she was tired of playing.

	Gator has Artie and Leech captive, and Emma hires Sean to get them back. M,

Gator. They crash his place and find out he wanted to lure them there, to power
his army of robot pimps. Bullets and kicks fly, and then Jubes pumps up the funky
music so loud it smashes the robots.

Story 3:	Half a Face (5 pages)

Synopsis:	Jono takes a bus to New York; he feels alone and miserable because

Story 4:	Generation X vs. the Beat Generation (1 page)

Synopsis:	D.O.A. tries to get Dirtnap to spit out M-Plate; he explodes, and
the twins and Emplate are separate again, but they have shared memories, so the
twins know what happened to the real Monet.
	Jubes, Sean, and Jono attack Emplate; Gaia warns Jono not to expend energy
near the Amalgamator, but too late: he sets off a chain-reaction. The Pooka gets
the train ready, while Emplate and D.O.A. use a lepton imploder to escape. Ev
wonıt leave without Gaia, but sheıs chained and says she needs to stay. Sean
punches Ev, but not hard enough, and he synchs with his sonic power and puts him
down. Penance slashes the chains, but the train has gone, so Gaia pushes a slab
away to get to yet another gateway. They drop into the lavatory in the diner, and
Gaia, free, runs for it. Dorian and Weasel, angry that the diner is messed up,
beat Ev half to death.
	The train stops at the biosphere; the reassembled team rushes to the diner
and finds Ev bleeding in the road.

Synopsis:	Dr. Singh says Ev wasnıt hit by a car but was beaten. Ev,
unconscious, synchs with Emma and levitates (!) everyone while he reads their
minds. Only the autistic Claudette is unaffected, and she touches and stops him.
Emma mind-wipes the doctor. Ev synchs with the twins and wakes up. Authier brings
in Dorian and Weasel, but Ev claims theyıre innocent.
	At school, the twins explain: Emplate wanted Monet to help him conquer
alternate realities; she laughed at him, saying theyıre already rich, and he
ruined his body. Furious, he transformed her into Penance. Claudette drew a chalk
circle and sent Emplate to another dimension forever, and Penance followed him.
Nicolette decided to merge with her twin and impersonate Monet; now they merge
again, then merge with Penance, then split Monet out again. So the twins are
trapped in Penanceıs form.
	In space, Bianca, back from an alternate dimension, takes over a spaceship
and transforms the aliens into her 7 dwarves. She has a mad on for Emma.
	Ev wants to find Gaia.

Synopsis:	The headmasters are in New York for the weekend, so Angelo has got
some horror videos, while the girls paint their nails, and Jono and Ev make
snacks. They realize Jubes is too young to watch the movies, and they scare her
into thinking that if she dies in a dream, she will in reality.
	Jubes has a nightmare, mixing horror movies with X-villains, and she canıt
wake herself till all the other kids have been killed. Then she realizes the
other kids had planned to dress as villains to scare her, and boy, is she mad!

Synopsis:	The team is out at miniature golf, and two local girls take an
interest in Jono, and when they try to look under his mask, Paige uses the excuse
to defend her territory.
	Bianca is about to attack, and just then Betsy shatters the psi-plane (X-Men
II:77). Bianca, Emma, and Jono drop. When the locals try to give Jono
mouth-to-mouth, he has no mouth, and they freak. When Emma tries to wipe minds,
she canıt.
	Gaia, now with pink hair, also blacked out and ran her car into a stop sign.
She had recently erected a futuristic-looking house in town, and Authier has his
eye on her. He has psi powers, too, and knows that something happened to all of
them. He gives Gaia into Emmaıs care. Emmaıs power is gone, and Jono canıt talk.
	Bianca punishes her dwarves for suggesting they should kill her while she was
unconscious and warns them they wonıt regain their insectoid forms without her.
Their ship collides with another, and they fall.

Synopsis:	Since Emma and Jono have lost their powers, Sean holds a training

gets his head handed to him. They continue to sneak attack each other, while the
children watch.
	Bianca orders her dwarves back to Snow Valley, and they plot revenge against
her. She hates Emma for buying her company and firing her, and she used a secret
device to get to another dimension to find a way to get even.
	Dorian and Weasel deliver pizzas and threaten Ev if he tells Authier they
beat him up. Biancaıs ship lands on their car, and the dwarves attack. Bianca
chases Emma into the kitchen and gets hit with a frying pan and a jar of mayo,
and when she tries to stomp on Emmaıs head, she flips her and gets a watermelon
on the melon.
	The dwarves see the team in action and surrender. They find Emma triumphant
in the kitchen. The phone rings: itıs Theresa, for Sean.

Synopsis:	Bianca and the dwarves are put to work repairing the biosphere.
Jubes feeds Sugar Bombs to Gaia and asks if she has feelings for Ev. She sees
Angelo walk out with his cigar box (iss. 34) and follows, worried heıs going to
shoot Dorian and Weasel.
	Sean picks up Siryn at the airport and he says heıs proud of her in X-Force,
and heıs sorry he wasnıt there when she was growing up.
	Paige talks to Jono, saying her mother is sick and she has to leave. She gets
him to promise to stick with the team till she returns, and he burns a heart into
a napkin. They hug.
	Dorian and Weasel deliver pizzas on bicycle, and Ev approaches them. Jubes
tries to stop him, but heıs giving them cash for a down payment on a new car.
Theyıre distrustful, but they take it. Ev just wanted to stop the cycle of hate.
	Gaia, after 17 millennia in chains, is annoyed that her power is gone. Emma
and she realize itıs coming back.
	A dimensional vortex swallows the biosphere, leaving behind a photo of itself
it a futuristic city.

Synopsis:	Emma is powerless and furious and refuses to talk to Sean. Jubes and
Angelo go to cheer up Jono, but heıs missing Paige. Gaia thanks Ev for saving her
life, and hearts flutter. Monet has lost her psi-powers, too, and is hurt that no
one noticed. When Ev offers to hug her, she walks away. He asks Emma where
theyıre going to train without a biosphere, and she orders him off. Sean lets her
hit him as therapy, while the kids listen at the door. He says sheıs always been
a survivor, and then she bowls over: her powers came back as soon as she realized
she didnıt need them. Jono has had his powers for a few days but was sulking.
Gaia enrolls.
